Mechanical Design Drafts Person

Our client is a supplier, agent and manufacturer of large-scale machinery for food and beverage manufacturers across the globe.  They would like to appoint a Mechanical Design Drafts Person at their plant in Paarl.  The successful person will be responsible for mechanical machine design draughtsman work and need to be an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced mechanical design draughts person. * Grade 12 + a tertiary qualification such as a National Higher Diploma or B Tech. or equivalent. * 5 Years experience in mechanical machine design/drafting * Extensive experience on 3D CAD packages such as Creo or Pro-Engineer * Knowledge of manufacturing practices * Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high quality & quantity drawings * Skilled in producing complete manufacturing drawings, including detailing, assemblies and BOM * Strong mechanical insights * Competent to do calculations * Engineering knowledge of the food & beverage industry would be an advantage R40k to R50k per month ctc * Grade 12 + a tertiary qualification such as a National Higher Diploma or B Tech. or equivalent. * 5 Years experience in mechanical machine design/drafting * Extensive experience on 3D CAD packages such as Creo or Pro-Engineer * Knowledge of manufacturing practices * Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high quality & quantity drawings * Skilled in producing complete manufacturing drawings, including detailing, assemblies and BOM * Strong mechanical insights * Competent to do calculations * Engineering knowledge of the food & beverage industry would be an advantage
