Trax Engineering is a Steel Manufacturing Fabrication company in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town, main focus is in sheet metal and welding fabrication, but are looking to branch out into other sectors of the metal industry.We are currently looking to employ a full time Draftsman / Production Manager to help manage our production and development of new and existing products.Requirements:Drafting (Essential)Good familiarization with SolidWorks, Onshape (or similar 3D software) to include sheet metal.Experience in design of sample parts and producing production drawings.Knowledge of CAM is also beneficial.Laser Nesting & Programing A basic knowledge of Lantek or similar CNC programing/nesting programs. This can be taught in-house for a suitable applicant if required.Production ManagementMust be capable of assessing Pre-Production (customer requirements of parts) & managing production flow.Other RequirementsOwn driving licence required.Other InformationWorking hours are 8 - 4.30 Monday to Friday.Salary will be dependent upon experience and knowledge.Applicants may apply to admin@trax-engineering.com.
