Description
* Manage Projects, to be the responsile person for a project on the day to day activities, identifying that the projectis adequately resourced, costs are managed and schedules for studies/projects adhere to. * Manage the interaction and communicate daily with the client, be able to identify project issues and to provide resolutions. * Skilled in project initiation and setup, scoping, schedule and cost integration, earned value managment, monitor and control, procurement and planning. * Manage staff requirements co-ordinate staffing with supporting managers. Determining the need for training and talent development. * Provide strong effective and decisive project management leadership to establish frameworks to ensure the safety, quality, value,timeliness and profitability of the total project execution. * Establish, define and manage budget. * Hiring contractors and building teams. * Providing clear and concise direction/instructions to engineering teams. * Build and maintain relationships with all levels of organization. * Maintain visibility of key project issues. * Define and implement preventative and corrective actions. * Participate in key project meetings, coordinate activities in conjunction with engineering, procurement, contracts and project management. * Manage commitments and delivarables to ensure they are carried out in accordance with agreed to terms. * Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time. * Maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders, the management team and project members. * Respond to inquiries and project issues when required. * Develop project records, documents, procedures, software packages that are fit for purpose and are easily accessible/usable and understandable. * Ensure project invoice are sumbitted as per the contract and proactively follow up on payments to improve cash flow. * Provide status reports of project activities that include financial, resource change and risk management. * Establish and maintain client relations that result in active co-operation, prompt payment and the desire to award to follow on work. * PMP * Registration required - PMP * Experience - PMP * PMP * Registration required - PMP * Experience - PMP
