Job Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing information about our services.

Manage incoming calls and emails, ensuring prompt and courteous communication with patients and staff.

Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially, adhering to South African data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Coordinate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow.

Handle administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and processing insurance claims.

Keep reception area tidy and organized for a professional appearance.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in computer systems and software, including MS Office.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable transportation to and from our dental practice.
