This example is a custom “sleeper build” Volkswagen Beetle Oval window completed over the past 6 years. Sourced as a project in need of full restoration. At some point in the past this 1956 model’s chassis/pan was replaced with that of a 1958 and during this build the original engine was removed and replaced with a more powerful unit. The front axle, tyres, and brakes were therefore upgraded to manage the additional power.
