The Referendum Party (RP) will contest the 29 May 2024 election in the Western Cape. The Referendum Party requires 100,000 votes (out of 3,300,000 Registered Voters in the Western Cape) to acquire just 2 seats in the Western Cape Government. The SUBTLE difference between FREEDOM and SLAVERY :

The IDEAL of DEMOCRACY is UNIVERSAL EQUALITY.

The IDEAL of a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC is INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY.

A democracy is a political system in which the people, periodically by majority, vote at the polls to select their leaders/rulers. These rulers then have ABSOLUTE POWER to make WHATEVER LAWS THEY PLEASE by majority vote AMONG THEMSELVES.

In a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, the people, also by majority vote at the polls, select rulers who make laws by majority vote among themselves.

BUT these rulers/leaders CANNOT MAKE ANY LAWS THEY PLEASE, because the CONSTITUTION SEVERELY RESTRICTS THEIR LAW-MAKING POWERS.

During the 20th/21st century great strides have been made towards the GOAL OF SUBVERTING our REPUBLIC (USA) and transforming it into a DEMOCRACY by using SUBVERSIVE language. By calling the USA a "democracy" until people THOUGHTLESSLY accept the use of the term "DEMOCRACY".

Liberals and socialists and other subversives have OBSCURED the REAL MEANING of USA Principles of Government.

REAL LIBERTY IS NOT FOUND IN DEMOCRACY !!!!

USA was FOUNDED NOT as a democracy but as a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.

We pledge allegiance to the REPUBLIC, and NOT democracy. THE USA CONSTITUTION and DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE and BILL OF RIGHTS requires a REPUBLICAN FORM OF GOVERNMENT for ALL STATES, but does not mention democracy.

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN saw through the mists of time to the day when Americans might TRADE their FREEDOM IN A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC for the promise of a "government-guaranteed equality and security" in a "democracy".
