Part Sourcer

We require an experienced motor parts sourcer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for procuring motor vehicle parts from various suppliers at the best possible prices to minimize the costs on vehicle repairs. A strong background in the motor industry with mechanical and technical knowledge of vehicle types, makes and models would be an advantage. Candidates from both an insurance, accident management and panelbeater background will be considered as long as experience has been gained in the sourcing of parts.

Key Accountabilities

Sourcing of motor vehicle parts at competitive prices.

Ensuring cost savings when procuring parts.

Check and verify the availability of parts.

Maintain acceptable turnaround times.

Data capturing of parts prices into computer system.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and panelbeaters.

Skills/Knowledge

The role requires in-depth knowledge and experience of motor accident damage repair practices.

Must work well in a team.

Telephonic communication skills.

Negotiation Skills.

Computer Skills.
