Midweight - Packaging Designer

Calling all power packaging design specialists! We have a fabulous opportunity for a midlevel Packaging Designer to join the team at a innovative design studio in Somerset West, Stellenbosch. We’re looking for a conceptual designer and thinker with packaging design experience. The role will see you supporting the small and nimble creative team - working remotely - in developing creatively appealing and compelling packaging design solutions. If you’re a Graphic Designer with a deep interest in creating beautiful packaging design and working across well-known brands, we want to hear from you!RequirementsThe successful candidate must have/be:BA/3-4 year Diploma/Degree in Visual Communication or equivalent3-4 years’ branding and packaging design experience in a design studio or advertising agencyGood exposure to the mechanics of packaging designA good understanding of working with big brandsProficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and have great Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop skillsA designer who loves crafting and refining workAn interest in ideas, typology, layout, colour, composition, materials etc.Some exposure to repro/print processesA thinking designer passionate about design in all it's different facetsPlease submit a link to your relevant portfolio along with your CV on application
