East London - This role is based within a dynamic Marketing Agency with offices in East London and Cape Town, working with both local and national clients. If you are passionate about the industry, have high organisational skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, this is for you! Minimum requirements:Grade 12 / MatricRelevant tertiary in line with the industry: Marketing / Communications / Design3+ years in a similar role Responsibilities:Performing all traffic control-related activities always in the best interests of the company and its clientsAssuring the highest level of professionalism and personal performance possibleProviding the critical link between client services and inputting the job into productionEnsuring accurate deadlines are obtained from the client services teamEnsuring that an accurate and concise brief is received from the client services departmentBriefing the job successfully into production and ensuring delivery deadlines are metEnsuring that all communication relating to jobs in progress is channeled clearly and timeouslyEnsuring that any supplied material conforms to the specs quoted and highlighting/voicing any concerns regarding problematic areasEnsuring that all non-conformances/problems are rectified before briefing into production without undue delaysTo ensure production schedules are constantly updated and the updates are communicated timeously to client servicesEnsuring that work form production leaving is of the highest standards and that all time frames and deadlines are strictly adhered to and metNotifying client services timeously of any change in expected delivery datesEnsuring that all incoming electronic files are checkedCommunicating with client services if the material does not conform to requirementsChecking proofs prior to final dispatching to client services for submitting to clientsEnsuring that all repro costs, etc. are channeled correctly and communicated to the relevant partiesEnsuring all proofs, dyelines, etc. are submitted timeously and correctly into productionConducting a daily status meeting with production/client servicesEnsuring that the keyline is inserted in all artworks for productionEnsuring delivery instructions are received timeously and handed over to productionDiscussing with production any complex distributions prior to final dispatchingEnsuring that all relevant information is captured on AVAZAProviding support to client services whenever a customer requires informationNegotiating extensions of delivery dates, should this be requiredProducing daily status reportsAnswering all client services queries pertaining to the status of their job or any other related issuesEnsuring that artwork/disks/samples, etc. are returned to client services (to return to clients on completion of jobsAttending weekly account management/marketing meetings to ensure a thorough knowledge of work in the system at all timesPreparing for and attending monthly management meetings Competencie
